What to Expect on Sunday
Parking
Although our parking lot is, yes, ridiculously tiny … our neighbours are wonderfully generous in sharing the street parking on the many side streets near the church.
Welcome
When you enter our front doors, you’ll be welcomed by our greeters and sidespeople. Please sign our ‘welcome book’ in the entryway. Just above it are newcomer packets that contain a card that you can complete and place in the offering plate . This will help us know a little about you, and tell us what info would be most helpful you.
Kids Programs
Children ages 3 to 11 begin the 11:15 services (and our summertime 10 am services) with their parents in the church. After the opening announcements and hymn they gather at the front of the church for a short talk geared to their level, after which they go downstairs for their programs. They’ll rejoin their parents in church just before Communion.
Babies and Toddlers are Welcome Too
We have a nursery equipped and staffed at our 11:15 service located downstairs straight through two sets of doors.
At the back of our church we have a quiet play area for parents who’d like to keep their babies or toddlers with them.
Refreshments and a Time to Chat
Between our two main services at approximately 10:30 a.m. we meet in the upper hall for coffee, tea, juice and a variety of cookies. During this time people have a chance to meet and catch up with each other.
